A watch is more than an accessory that tells time,

A watch is more than an accessory that tells time, it’s a dapper way to have your arm dressed up, but in an understated, sleek way that’s not overdone. There isn’t any outfit that you can put on that a timepiece isn’t going to elevate. To help us get inspired, we asked Vancouver-based photographer and content creator Jamie Out to share his first memory, what watch trends he’s excited to try and how he likes to style his treasured timepieces.

What is your first memory of jewellery?
My first memory of a timepiece dates back to when I was in grade 3. I saved up and bought myself an original Mickey Mouse watch with rotating hands at Disneyland. I wore it proudly all the time and thought it was the coolest accessory ever.

What kind of jewellery trends are you most excited to wear/try this season?
This season, I'm most excited about trying out the Tudor Black Bay Bronze. I love how it patinas over time, giving it a unique and personalized look. It's versatile enough to pair with various outfits, and I appreciate its rugged durability, perfect for my active lifestyle and travels.

How do you like to style jewellery with your looks (day or night)?
When it comes to styling my timepiece, I like to keep it versatile. During the day, I often pair it with casual outfits for a touch of sophistication. At night, I may opt for a more formal or dressy look, but the timepiece always adds a hint of elegance regardless of the occasion. For others looking to style their timepieces, I'd suggest considering the versatility of the watch and how it complements different styles, from casual to formal, to create a cohesive and polished look.
