What is your first memory of jewellery?
It was 1994, the year I immigrated to Vancouver with my family. I remember my last day of school, my grade 2 teacher invited my mom and I over to her home for dinner. After dinner as we were saying our goodbyes, she handed me a mahogany jewellery music box. I carefully opened it and a small ballerina popped up in the centre and started twirling to the tune of Fur Elise. There was a heart-shaped gold locket with a photo of my teacher and I inside. I still treasure it to this day.
What kind of jewellery trends are you most excited to wear/try this season?
I’ve been loving the link styles and custom personalized jewellery. Bangles have become one of my recent favourites and pearls will always be a classic.
How do you like to style jewellery with your looks (day or night)?
I tend to gravitate towards pearl or diamond earrings whether in stud form or dangling form. For bracelets and necklaces, I like thinner chains as you can dress them up or down. Sometimes a nice watch goes a long way and it’s the only accessory you need.
What is your first memory of jewellery?
My first memory of jewellery would be from my mom’s collection – she has the most incredible pieces that she had collected over the years and also pieces that were passed down from my grandma. I remember she would keep them hidden in a large wooden box and I would always ask her if I could look at them because I loved anything sparkly. She had the most amazing diamond clip-on earrings and I would always want to try them on since I didn’t have my ears pierced at the time. Those are the moments that really made me fall in love with jewellery and fashion at such a young age!

At this moment, I love diamond stud earrings. I think they are such a timeless, classic piece that will never go out of style and always makes you look more confident and polished no matter what you're wearing! Speaking of classic pieces, I've also been loving watches. I don't currently own one but have had my eye on a few brands and models for a very long time. It's such a timeless investment and it elevates any look!
How do you like to style jewellery with your looks (day or night)?
It depends on what I'm wearing and what type of hardware I'm committing to that night but I think any statement gold earring looks great with jeans and a t-shirt – it really brings a look together and adds an extra element that completes an outfit. I'm not typically a necklace person so I like to stick to earrings, rings, and bracelets to accessorize my looks, both day to night.
What is your first memory of jewellery?
My first memory of jewellery is when I was 4 years old and my mom was wearing her three individual beautiful gold colourful rings. I always looked at the rings and admired the different colours of the stones. When I turned 27, my mother gifted two of the rings to me (green and pink) and the blue colour to my younger sister - she remembered how much I loved her rings. Now the two rings are what I wear most of the time and whenever I look down at my fingers I remember this beautiful story associated with it.
What kind of jewellery trends are you most excited to wear/try this season?
I’m so excited for this year’s jewellery trends. Oversized larger-than-life jewellery is something I’m looking forward to wearing because this means keeping my outfit simple and letting the jewelry do all the work. I’m also very much looking forward to anklets as I remember my mother wearing them a lot when I was younger and always admired it.
How do you like to style jewellery with your looks (day or night)?
I believe jewellery is so powerful when it comes to putting any look together whether it's a daytime look or evening. It’s really what makes or breaks your look and for me it’s important to invest in quality jewellery pieces that take your outfit to the next level. This way you can wear the simplest look and let your jewelry do all the talking.

My earliest recollection of jewelry dates back to a cherished visit to a Tiffany’s store. It was there that I discovered the allure of a Return to Tiffany's heart-beaded bracelet, drawn to its exquisite simplicity and timeless elegance.

For evenings out, I opt for statement earrings, choosing them based on the occasion and my attire to add a touch of elegance to my ensemble.

My first memory of a timepiece dates back to when I was in grade 3. I saved up and bought myself an original Mickey Mouse watch with rotating hands at Disneyland. I wore it proudly all the time and thought it was the coolest accessory ever.

When it comes to styling my timepiece, I like to keep it versatile. During the day, I often pair it with casual outfits for a touch of sophistication. At night, I may opt for a more formal or dressy look, but the timepiece always adds a hint of elegance regardless of the occasion. For others looking to style their timepieces, I'd suggest considering the versatility of the watch and how it complements different styles, from casual to formal, to create a cohesive and polished look.
